Hello!

I'm Shou-pon Lin (林碩芃). Born and raised in Taiwan, I spent 15 years in New York building at Google Maps and DoorDash, a decade of it on the two largest maps and delivery-logistics products in the world. Now I'm applying that to the fleets I grew up riding, building Zemo in Taipei.

I love building software. I love maps, and how they bridge the gaps between the virtual world and the physical world.

I also love spending time with my son, and seeing the world afresh through his eyes.

Software Engineering

Co-founder of Zemo

Technical co-founder. I built Zemo's software end to end: the customer interface, dispatch, scheduling, and the AI agents.

  • The dispatch and scheduling engine runs the fleets; the AI agents handle rider and driver conversations.
  • 30+ enterprise customers, including ASUS, AUO, and KPMG.

DoorDash, engineering manager / staff engineer

Led the New Modes and Ordering Journeys teams.

  • Led the redesign of the app's core navigation and platform, a top contributor to DoorDash's variable profit, and the foundation for an AI assistant in place of thumb-tapping through a search bar.
  • Made the whole experience hyperlocal by re-architecting how the app reconciles a user's real-time location with their delivery address.

Google Maps, software engineer

I worked on the Google Maps counter-abuse platform, early in my career.
